What happens after you send a message
We read every message ourselves and reply on working days, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Pacific.
The first conversation is short. We want to know what you’re trying to fix, what you’ve already tried, and roughly when you need it done. There’s no pitch deck, and you’ll know what something costs before you’re asked to decide.
If it’s a good fit, we send our client questionnaire. Your answers become the blueprint for your site, and the build starts once we have them and your content.
Already have a website?
Send these three things
It saves a round of email.
- The web address.
- What you can log in to: the website, the hosting account, the domain, or none of them.
- What’s bothering you: slow, dated, broken, or you can’t reach whoever built it.
That last one comes up a lot. If you can’t get hold of your developer, say so up front: it’s usually fixable, and we call it website rescue. Want a fuller picture first? Ask for a free website audit.

We don’t do free spec work
We won’t design a homepage on the hope of winning the job. Work done without knowing your business isn’t worth much, and it isn’t fair to the clients who are paying.
We’re not the cheapest
Some people will build you a site for a few hundred dollars, and some of those sites are fine. If price decides it, we’d rather say so now than after a call. Our plans and prices are public.
We say no sometimes
If what you need is outside what we do well, we’ll tell you and point you somewhere better.
