How it works
What local SEO actually is
When someone in Coeur d’Alene searches “HVAC repair near me,” Google shows a map with three businesses before any regular results. Local SEO is the work that gets you into that map and onto page one for searches in the towns you serve.
Google decides largely on three things: how relevant your business is to the search, how close you are to the person searching, and how prominent you are, which comes from your reviews, your listings across the web and the strength of your website.
You don’t need a storefront. If you travel to customers, your Google Business Profile can list a service area and keep your street address private. We run our own business that way, and it still ranks.

What’s included
What we work on
Your Google Business Profile
The right categories, services, service area, hours and photos, kept active with regular posts.
Consistent listings everywhere
Your business name, phone and website identical on Google, Bing, Apple, Yelp and the directories that matter.
Local pages that earn their place
Pages for the towns you serve, built only where you have real work there. Thin copy-and-paste town pages hurt more than they help.
Reviews that help you rank
A simple way to ask every customer, and replies to every review. Reviews that mention the town and the job carry extra weight.
Local schema
Structured data that tells Google which areas you serve and what you offer, without exposing a home address.
Tracking calls and directions
We watch the actions that matter: calls, direction requests and website visits from your listing.

Step 3
Build local relevance
Location and service pages backed by real work, plus local schema.
Step 4
Grow reviews and report
A steady review habit, regular posts, and plain-English reports.
Questions
Local SEO questions
What is the map pack?
It’s the map with three businesses that Google shows above the regular results for local searches. It gets a large share of the clicks for searches like “plumber near me.”
Do I need a physical address to rank locally?
No. Service-area businesses can hide their street address and list the towns they serve instead. Google requires that if you don’t serve customers at your address.
How much do reviews matter?
A lot. The number of reviews, how recent they are and what they say all affect local rankings, and they affect whether people call. Ask every happy customer and reply to every review.
Should I have a page for every town?
Only where you have real work and something specific to say. A page that just swaps the town name is thin content, and Google treats it that way.
How long does local SEO take?
Fixes to your profile and listings can show up within weeks. Ranking in competitive towns takes months of steady work.
